Another dimension

That's what I'm living in; another dimension. Everything has been turned on it's head and shaken until everything falls to the ground. I've finally gotten to the point where I have stood back up, and am collecting my things, but all of my possessions have turned into Taiwanese possessions.

Eating Chinese food has been a trip. I'm starting out slow; I've been eating a lot of cereal, fruit, and vegetables. At school everyday we eat a Chinese lunch, so the has been very helpful in telling me what I like and what I don't like.

I had a very hard time my first few days. I just felt very isolated and confused allllll the time. This is my second day in a row of feeling okay, so we'll see how things go :o)

Oh my goodness Laurel! What an amazing, crazy, scary, wonderful experience! I can't wait to follow the adventure from the safe confines of binary world. It's funny how I sometimes associate you with Asian culture- every time I see my green Chinese outfit, picture Halloween with the Flintstones (am I thinking of the right trip?), remember the funny Chicago accent when saying the words "dragon bAg", and reminisce about how wonderful you were to my silly obsession. I suppose that is why it's no stretch of the mind to sit here in front of a computer screen Saturday morning and picture you still asleep on a Sunday morning in a strange land clear across the world. Thats so cool, you are living in the future. I wish you the best and am excited for the unfolding events!

I apologize for leaving another comment, but I had to share my new realization.

Notice on the right hand side, the nickname of the city. That just made my day.
