Green World

So, many of you reader's already know this, but I have a second job now. I am working Mon-Fri in the mornings at an International school. I teach 5th and 6th Grade Social Studies and English. I love how different it is from the language school I've been teaching at. It's actual teaching, instead of just playing games and filling out workbooks. I have been there for four weeks now, but I just wasn't sure I was up for the task, so I've been keeping it on the DL. I have to say, some days I come home completely exhausted, but I'm all right :o) The kids there are really great. I'm teaching kids from all over. There are kids from Korea, Japan, India, China, America, and of course Taiwan! It's only a sub position, technically, so I don't get a lot of the perks (like a paid summer vacation!) but I am making sooo much money. I've never had so much money before! I can understand why some people stay here just for the money. LOL.

On Friday I took a day off from the lanaguage school to go on a field trip with my 6th graders (I'm the home room teacher for 6th grade, so I spend more time with them) to a place called Green World. Very cool. I posted all my pictures on my Flickr account, but here's one of my class (minus three boys who decided not to come):
